Just like the mind bender that is, “Which came first, the chicken or the egg?”, many of us have spent more than one sleepless night wondering, “Who made who?”
Luckily, in 1986, Stephen King, AC/DC, and Emilio Estevez attempted to answer that question with MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE.
I know Maximum Overdrive isn’t really too horrific…and AC/DC is more of a blue collar rock band than a metal band…but I have 31 days to fill for Rocktober, so cut me some slack people. Besides, there’s a soft spot in my heart for Mr. King’s goofy little film and other than KISS, AC/DC was my favorite band as a youngster.
And really, no one can deny the awesomeness that is the Happy Toyz 1977 Western Star 4864 Green Goblin rig…remember how cool it looked behind Stephen in the trailer? No? Check it:
Sweet. Okay, this weekend will be filled with more metal and horror than you can stand…or want…
